Saturday 11th June saw the club running a stand at the opening day of the 2016 Letchworth Festival.
We were asked if we could do something ‘interactive’ rather than just handing out leaflets so we decided to have a pop-up studio.
Garry brought some of his studio gear down and we set up a mini studio in Leys Square next to our stand. We were able to borrow some display boards from the Heritage Foundation – thanks again to Josh Tidy – behind which we had our studio.
Visitors to the display were invited to pose for a free studio portrait. James, Clem, Luke and Garry took photos throughout the day which people are able to download and keep.
Garry was able to do some quick edits on a laptop and tweeted some of the images from the stand. They were added them to the Camera Club’s Facebook page within a few minutes of being taken.
Our first model was Lisa from the Letchworth Festival stand. After that we had a steady stream of models of all ages.
Once the images are all processed we will add a link to them here.
