Competitions
|
There are three categories, for Colour Prints, Monochrome Prints and Colour Slides/Digital Images.
Events are held through the year for each category, when members accumulate points towards annual trophies.

There are also single events judged by external judges for Print of the Year and Slide of the Year.
Most of these competitions are open subject, but occasionally a linking subject is specified.

The club also competes against neighbouring clubs, and through the East Anglian Federation the club's images can also compete

Rules
Prints
Each member may enter up to three images in each class (Colour/Mono). There must be entries from at least three members for a class to be judged.
Each print must be greater than 300 sq.cms, and not greater than 40 x 50 cms including the mount. For the EAF Exhibition the size of the mount must be exactly 40 x 50 cms (or 16 x 20 inches)

Digital Images
It has been decided that the Slide Competition should become a "Projected Image Competition", comprising both slides and digital images. Both formats will be projected, with a maximum of 3 entries per member.
Digital images must be given in one week before the competition, so that they can be collated.
The images should be in .jpeg format, with a maximum width of 1024 pixels and maximum height of 768 pixels.
