Club night on the 12th June was the last meeting of the season.
One of our members, John, is a farmer, and he invited the members up to his farm for an evening photoshoot.
Around a dozen members made the journey out of town and up into the rural area of northeast Hertfordshire. Fortunately the evening was dry and bright so we had a pleasant evening playing with our camera gear on John’s farm.
We started off shooting three of John’s prized cows. Unfortunately, they were a little wary of a group of photographers, all pointing cameras at them so they tended to stay at the far end of the field, however, John worked his magic with some buckets of food and they soon came a bit closer for us.
John had two farm vehicles out for us to shoot and some members wandered around shooting items around the farm, as well as each other.
Everyone enjoyed the evening out and it is hoped we will be able to add similar evenings to next year’s programme.
